Divya Media launches a dedicated quarterly magazine on metal forming & laser technologies
Marking a significant step towards strengthening knowledge dissemination in the manufacturing sector, Divya Media officially launched Forming Tech Review, its new quarterly magazine focused on metal forming and laser technologies, at the prestigious IMTEX FORMING 2026 held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from January 21–25.
The inaugural issue of Forming Tech Review was released on January 23 at the Divya Media stall by Yogesh Saxena, Chief Executive – Machine Building, ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd, in the presence of eminent industry professionals and invited guests. Other dignitaries present at the launch included Dr. Tanvi from ISGEC, Dr. Umesh Mhatre, Managing Director, Surface Modification Technologies, Ravi Sane, Director, Dijet Industrial Company etc. representing key segments of the metal forming, cutting tools, and surface engineering ecosystem.
Speaking on the occasion, Saxena lauded the initiative, noting that the increasing complexity and technological evolution in forming processes demand a dedicated platform for knowledge exchange, innovation tracking, and industry dialogue.
Forming Tech Review has been conceived with a clear editorial vision—to bridge the information gap in the niche yet rapidly evolving domains of metal forming and laser-based manufacturing. While machining and broader manufacturing have long enjoyed focused media attention, metal forming technologies—ranging from sheet metal forming, tube bending, and forging to advanced laser cutting and welding—often lack a consolidated, authoritative voice.
The magazine aims to address this gap by offering in-depth technical articles, expert interviews, case studies, trend analyses, and coverage of cutting-edge developments in forming technologies. It will also spotlight innovations in tooling, automation, simulation, and digitalization, helping industry stakeholders stay ahead in an increasingly competitive landscape.
With India’s manufacturing sector witnessing a strong push under initiatives such as “Make in India” and the growing adoption of advanced fabrication techniques, Forming Tech Review aspires to become a vital knowledge partner for OEMs, MSMEs, technologists, and academia alike.
The launch at IMTEX FORMING 2026—one of the country’s premier platforms for forming technologies—provided the perfect backdrop, bringing together industry leaders, technology providers, and decision-makers under
one roof.
Through this new publication, Divya Media reinforces its commitment to delivering focused, high-quality content that informs, inspires, and connects the manufacturing community.
